BOOK THE ROOM
There are so many factors that play into whether or not you get a job – all of which are out of your control.
There is only one thing you DO have control over and that is your ability to Book the Room.
With my 3 step process, you will learn the tools to bring the most authentic, emotionally truthful, YOU to the scene. When you do that, Casting Directors, Producers and Directors will remember you and call you back. THAT is how you BOOK THE ROOM.
Remember, this is your career. LONGEVITY is the goal!
Coaching with me before an audition will help you get the words out and off the page, learn to use any nervousness to your advantage, work with you to make strong choices, build your confidence, and make you feel great about the work!
I am one of you. I know EXACTLY what you are going through when you get an audition.
As a working actor for over 25 years, with more than 150 television and film credits and COUNTLESS hours of auditions, my goal is to share my experience, skills, and knowledge that will help you manifest the career you desire.
I have studied with all the great teachers in Los Angeles with backgrounds in Improv (The Groundlings), Adler, Stanislavsky, and have spent over the last 25 years continuously studying Meisner. Being truthful, comfortable, and confident bringing YOU to the scene is what brings me the greatest joy.
Let’s do this!
“I am so sincere when I say, “Michelle C. Bonilla” is one of THE best actor-friendly and actor-supporting coaches I’ve EVER worked with! Amazing results! I actually had casting directors reach out to my reps and say how great my auditions were. It blew my mind because that never happens! I highly recommend Michelle, without hesitation!”
– Maria Howell
(Criminal Minds, Hidden Figures, Saints & Sinners, Hunger Games: Catching Fire)
“The landscape of television is so fast – you need to know the tone of the show and get the competitive edge for auditioning for them. To be able to work with Michelle, who has that working knowledge and on-set experience (whether comedy or drama, co-star or guest-star), is invaluable! She is professional, gives clear direction, and is 100% supportive.”
– Andrew Boyle
(Over The Line, Agnes, Fosse, Ragtime)
“Michelle is supportive of my talent and my truth. She brings her knowledge and experience of working on set and auditioning, as well as her unique perspective, to help shape and structure a scene. My work stays true to the material and “pops”. I always leave a session feeling excited to go on my audition.”
– Caitlin Dulany
(Mistresses, Criminal Minds, Winter’s Tale, Old Boy, Project X)
“I love working with Michelle before auditions. She has great sensitivity toward the actor’s process, which makes sense since she is out there auditioning! Her practical, applicable advice and guidance could only come from an actor who is out there doing it too. She knows what’s happening in casting rooms now. She’s very quick at breaking down the sides and getting to the essence of the scene. I always feel confident going into an audition I’ve prepared with Michelle. I’m very lucky to have found her! Also, her self-tapes are great – both technically and creatively fantastic!”
– Sarah J. Cornelius
(Mental, Monk, Ghost Whisperer)
“Michelle’s bio alone proves she knows her way an audition room. She is really able to interpret the material and help you flesh out things that you didn’t even know was there. As an actor, she talks to you like an actor and having directed and produced, also gives you the insight of what they are looking for too. It all worked out and BOOKED the ROOM with it. The Casting Director loved it. I highly recommend Michelle – want to give your audition a bit more? There is only one person to go to.”
